Fried traditional bread

Ingredients for 4 people:
- 500 gr flour
- 50 gr lard
- 40 gr brewer’s yeast salt
- 1 glass of warm milk lard or oil for frying
- 1 bowl 125 gr “Calzetti” spredable cheese cream at your choice

 

 

 

 

Preparation:
Mix flour , salt , lard and yeast previously melted into warm milk. Work well and let it rise in a warm place ,covered with a cloth for at least an hour. Then make such dough abt. 3 mm thick using a rolling pin . Then cut it with the specific tool into diamond shaped pieces.Fry them into boiling oil or lard .When the pieces are well risen and golden coloured take them away from fire and serve still hot with cheeses, sausages and “Calzetti” spredable cheese cream at your choice
